Terms and Conditions

When you book with us via our online e-ticketing platform or telephone, we will ask for your name, address, credit card details, telephone number and e-mail address. This allows us to fulfil your ticket request, track your order and contact you regarding your booking. No personal information provided by you will be used for marketing purposes except as agreed to by you or as allowed under GDPR. However, you will have the opportunity to unsubscribe to any such communications.  If you do not wish to receive further information, please email the event on boxoffice@badminton-horse.co.uk

TICKET PURCHASE AND REFUND POLICY

Any persons involved in unlawful resale, attempted unlawful resale or duplicating tickets will be subject to grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.  Prevention against fraud is in place.

Refunds will not be issued for any lost, forgotten, unused, surplus or tickets purchased in error.  Neither will refunds be issued to any person who arrives after the opening times advertised for the relevant day.

Grandstand tickets only: Subject to a deduction of up to 50%, money will be refunded on any grandstand ticket returned before 31st March 2025.  No refund after that date.

GRANDSTAND SEATS / CAMPING SITE PITCHES

We reserve the right to allocate alternative Grandstand seats and Camping Site Pitches to those requested.

ONLINE TICKET ORDERS

Please check your booking before completing the order and please check your tickets on receipt, as mistakes cannot always be rectified. Unless notification of your order is received from Badminton Horse Trials no booking is confirmed.

Each Ticket has a unique QR code which will be scanned once per day for entry to the Event.

It is the responsibility of the e-ticket purchaser to print or download their tickets. It is not the responsibility of Badminton Horse Trials to download or print these for you.  Please do this prior to arrival on event to ensure an efficient entry and in case of unreliable connectivity on site.

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform the Event Organisers of any change of address, contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of the goods.  Please note that our preferred method of contact for customers ordering online is by email, so care should be taken to provide a current, valid email address. 

RESTAURANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Members’ Enclosure Breakfast / Lunch Bookings

We regret we are unable to reserve or allocate specific tables within the restaurant.  Please note that in order to accommodate the restaurant sittings throughout the day, those who have pre-booked lunch will have their table for a maximum of 1 hour from your reservation time.  We would respectfully request that you arrive promptly to allow sufficient time to enjoy your meal.  For those who have pre-booked Bellini breakfast on Saturday you will have your table for a maximum 1 hour (breakfast served between 7.30 and 9.30am).

We cannot guarantee accommodating late arrivals.

Full payment for your food package will be taken at the time of booking.  You will be able to order and pay for drinks on the day.  Refunds are not offered for cancellations or no shows.

Portcullis Club Bookings

Patrons will be able to use the facility throughout the day and may book either individual places or tables for 8 guests and while every effort will be made to accommodate requests, exclusive use of a table for fewer than 8 may be asked to share banqueting style tables.

Please note that the Portcullis Club is not suitable for babies or children under 6 years of age.

Refunds are not offered for cancellations or no shows.

DOGS

While dogs are welcome at Badminton, they must be kept on a short lead and are not permitted in the Grandstands, the Members’ Enclosure, the Portcullis Club nor any other restaurant.  Dogs must not be left in cars; any distressed dogs will be removed from vehicles by the RSPCA.

Assistance dogs only will be admitted to the Members’ Enclosure and other restaurants.

GENERAL INFORMATION

 It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to contact Badminton Horse Trials Box Office in the event of non-delivery. Badminton Horse Trials will not be responsible for data communications failure or malfunction.

Each booking will be subject to a £2.50 booking fee and Camping and Portcullis Club bookings will be charged a £2.50 postal fee in addition.  By placing an order, you accept the fees charged. Badminton Horse Trials agreement is to supply tickets, subject to availability. In the event of any errors, which are the direct result of the actions of Badminton Horse Trials management or staff, we are only responsible for the refund of the cost of the ticket. Our agreement does not cover the cost of travel or accommodation. Event Organisers cannot take responsibility for travel difficulties such as strikes or inclement weather, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

CANCELLATION or ABANDONMENT

If the event is cancelled or abandoned, prepaid tickets will be refunded in full upon request within 28 days following the event in respect of any day that is cancelled before the start of that day’s competition. In respect of items covering the whole event (Season Tickets, Camping Site, etc.) the following proportions will be refunded: cancelled before Wednesday or Thursday starts 100%; before Friday 85%; before Saturday 60%; before Sunday 15%.  To be valid, request for refunds must be received in writing no later than 9th June 2025.  Badminton Horse Trials will have no responsibility or liability of any nature in respect of any request received after this date

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY & RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Organisers, Badminton Horse Trials Ltd., the British Equestrian Federation, British Eventing, The Trustees of the Somerset Trust, The Duke of Beaufort and his Estates, Swangrove Estates Ltd. nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, illness to horses, owners, riders, grooms, spectators, sponsors, dogs, exhibitors, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to Badminton Horse Trials to any persons or to withdraw permission at any time to remain in the Park and shall not be required to give any reason for such action.

Furthermore, the Organisers reserve the right to amend the allocation of grandstand seats, tickets and all other passes without notice.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time without notice, at the discretion of the Organisers.

GIFT VOUCHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

You can exchange Badminton Gift Vouchers for advance tickets only ie Personal Admission, Parking, Membership Badges, Portcullis Club, Radio Vouchers, Campsite Pitches/Passes and Grandstand Seating, this can be done online or over the telephone.  All tickets are subject to availability.

Full value of the Gift Vouchers must be redeemed by the expiry date of 30th April 2025. Vouchers cannot be redeemed at the gate or on site during the day.  Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

When purchasing a gift Voucher, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that the email address is correct at the time of purchase. We cannot be held responsible if the address is entered incorrectly and someone other than the intended recipient uses the Gift Voucher.

We cannot replace lost, stolen or damaged Gift Vouchers. No change / refund can be given.

We reserve the right to amend the Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions from time to time, where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so.
