Badminton

General Information

The 76th running of the MARS Badminton Horse Trials will take place at the Badminton Estate in South Gloucestershire (home of The Duke and Duchess of Beaufort). The Event is 5 star, the highest grade and one of only 7 such events in the world.

Access to the event is by ticket only and all tickets need to be purchased in advance (up to 12 midnight the night before you wish to visit.) Tickets can be purchased online or by phoning our Box Office Tel. 01454 218375.

Grandstands seats will need to purchased separately to watch the showjumping on the Sunday and to sit in the premier seats for the dressage. These can be purchased through our Box Office.

Each car entering the event will need a Car Parking Pass. No vehicle will be allowed onto the site without the correct parking pass.

There are great hospitality options and a large selection of fabulous food and drink vendors for you to choose from.

The  shopping village, is one of the many highlights of the event attracting a huge collection of many well known brands, from equestrian, food, fashion and lifestyle brands offering any discerning shopper plenty to choose from.

Banks

Cash4Events can be found within the Shopping Village (west and east side) and offer cash, banking and bureau facilities.

Drones

The use of drones is strictly forbidden throughout the event.

First Aid

First aid is available at the First Aid Hospital – south of the Event Organisers Office. On Saturday there are First Aid Posts situated around the cross country course and they will be marked on the course map.

Filming & photography

Filming and photography for commercial use is forbidden throughout the event unless prior permission has been granted. Filming of ‘field of play action’ is strictly forbidden. All applications to attend the event for media purposes need to be made using the official media accreditation process.

Hydration Stations

Hydration stations will be available within the Shopping Village for both human and canine visitors. Please bring your own refillable water bottles.

Lost Children/People

Children’s wristlets are available from the Organiser’s Office, Box Office and Programme Sellers kiosks for parents and guardians to collect. Simply write your contact details on the wristlet and secure it to your child. This will enable us to quickly reunite you if your child gets lost.

Lost children/people should be taken to the Organisers Office (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Sunday). On Saturday, if you are lost or have lost someone else go to the Lost People Tent.

Lost Property

Any lost property should be taken to the Event Organisers Office. If you have lost anything telephone or email the Horse Trials Office after the event and we will see if it has been handed in. Tel. 01454 218272 Email. info@badminton-horse.co.uk

Mother and Baby Unit

This is situated near the First Aid Hospital (see site plan) and offers changing facilities.

Mobile Phone Charging

Lifesaver provide mobile phone portable power banks for hire on event.

Programmes

Programmes will be available to purchase from the Kiosks located around the showground.

Shop & Drop

The Shop & Drop facility is located near the First Aid Hospital and will be manned 10am-5pm. (While every care will be taken the event and organisers accept no responsibility for any loss or damage.)
