Bloomfields Horseboxes Ltd, official horsebox partner

Bloomfields Horseboxes Ltd will be the official horsebox partner at Badminton Horse Trials, presented by Mars Equestrian, on May 4-8.

Olympic gold medallist and reigning Badminton champion Laura Collett is an ambassador for Bloomfields and recently took delivery of her exquisite Bloomfields Professional. “The team at Bloomfields have been brilliant to work with,” she said. “Nothing has been too much trouble for them. The quality of my new lorry is exceptional and I can’t wait to get out competing in it.”

The company, a family business, began in 2005 when its founder, Dean Moody, built his first horsebox at his parents’ house, Bloomfield, in Nottinghamshire. It now builds up to 10 new horseboxes per week from its large Worksop factory, supplying equestrian clients world wide while still retaining the personal touch. During the Badminton weekend, former dual winner and international rider William Fox-Pitt will take delivery of his new lorry. Both William and Laura will be visiting the Bloomfields Horseboxes stand for signing and photo opportunities.

“We are delighted to be part of such a high-profile event as Badminton,” said Helen Moody, Director of Bloomfields Horseboxes Ltd. ‘ We are very excited to be launching one of our new models at the show, along with showcasing a range of our smaller horseboxes from 3.5 – 5T. We have always aspired to be sponsors at Badminton Horse trials, and could not be happier to be a part of the show for 2023.’

“We are delighted to welcome Bloomfields to Badminton,” said Horse Trials Director Jane Tuckwell. “They already have connections with some of the top riders and should be in for a great weekend.”

Badminton promises to be a memorable occasion with a great atmosphere as it takes place on the weekend of the Coronation of Charles lll and The Queen Consort. The dressage phase on Saturday, May 6 will start early and there will be a break in the competition so that everyone can watch the Coronation on the big screens.
