Biography

British rider Max Warburton (26) who is based near Southam in Warwickshire completed his first 5* at Badminton last year (36^th Monbeg Exclusive). This year he brings DeerPairc Revelry with who he completed Burghley last year gaining 18^th place – the horse’s first 5*. The combination was also 2^nd in the 4*L at Bramham.

For the last three years Max has represented GB at the world young horse championships gaining three top ten places and winning the silver medal last year in the six-year-old championship with Norway van de Haar.

After leaving school Max took an apprenticeship with Graham and Tina Fletcher and has since run his own yard. He is a previous pupil of the Wesko Equestrian Foundation.

Deerpairc Revelry is an 11-year-old grey Irish Sport Horse gelding. Bred by Dara O’Malley he is by Hermes De Reve out of Celerina by Cento. He was previously ridden to 3* by Leilia Paske – Max took the ride in 2022.
