Biography
It is a first Badminton for Austrian rider Lea Siegl (26) a professional rider who is based near Hargelsberg in Upper Austria. With Badminton entry DSP Fighting Line Lea has represented Austria at Two Olympic Games (Tokyo where she was the youngest competitor and Paris) the 2022 World Championships and last year won the 4*L at Baborowko and was 6th in the 5*L at Pau.
Lea trains with her father Austrian Olympic rider Harald Siegl (Athens 2004) who also represented Austria at several European championships, came to Badminton in 2009 and is still currently competing. Her partner is Swiss rider Felix Vogg who is also entered here this year.
DSP Fighting Line is an 18-year-old German-bred Bavarian stallion. He is by the thoroughbred Ostermond out of Pia by Laretto Diavolo. He has been with Lea since an eight-year-old. He gave Lea her first international win in 2016 and the pair has represented Austria all the way from Junior European championships to two Olympic Games (Tokyo and Paris). The pair has scored 11 international wins including the 4*L at Baborowko last year.
