Biography

It is a first Badminton for British rider Jack Pinkney (32) who is based near Burghclere in Berkshire where he runs his own yard. With Badminton entry Rehy Revelation Jack completed his first 5* at Pau last year.

Jack who trains with Tracie Robinson and Jay Halim formerly worked for Padraig and Lucy McCarthy and Austin O’Connor

He is married to Lea. Outside of horses Jack enjoys boxing and a round of golf.

Rehy Revelation is an 11-year-old Irish Sport Horse registered gelding. Bred by Matty Bourke he is by the Holstein jumper Ars Vivendi out of a mare by Harlequin du Carel. He was acquired by his owners at the Go for Gold sale in Ireland and came to Jack in 2020 as a 6-year-old. His owners Simon and Mags Hope own Aston Mullins Stud in Buckinghamshire breeding thoroughbreds for the track. They also own event horse Claragh Olala ridden by Jack at 4*.
