Biography

It will be first Badminton for British domiciled rider Grace Taylor (28) who competes for the USA. With Badminton entry Game Changer Grace contested her first 5* at Burghley last year. The pair impressed in the dressage and completed a clear xc but had to withdraw before the showjumping. Earlier in the year they were 9^th in the 4*L at Bramham and previously completed Blenheim.

Grace who is based at Aston Le Walls in Northamptonshire is the daughter of former championship riders Nigel Taylor and his American wife Ann who both competed at Badminton and Burghley. Grace has dual nationality but has chosen to ride for the United States where her mother lives.

Grace set up her yard at Washbrook farm in 2017 having previously worked for Oliver Townend, and American riders Karen O’Connor and Marilyn Little. Grace produced Jonelle Price’s 5* ride Hiarado to 4*.

Game Changer is a 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse registered gelding. Bred by Liam Webb he is by Cassidee out of the thoroughbred mare Storm Chaser by Titus Livius. He was acquired in 2017 from former rider Annie Kirkham.
